Republican National Convention 2024
Dear Friends & Neighbors,
(Please click on red links & note magenta)
The 2024 Republican National Convention is set to take place from July 15 to July 18, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event will be held at the Fiserv Forum, a significant venue in the city. This marks the first time Milwaukee has hosted the Republican National Convention, and it was chosen in part to emphasize the GOP’s focus on remaining competitive in the upper Midwest, a crucial battleground in recent elections.
The convention will include themed days, each highlighting different aspects of the Republican platform, such as economic policies, national security, and foreign policy. The final day of the convention will culminate in the nomination of the party’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates. The platform adopted for this convention is notably shorter and focuses on key issues like immigration, foreign policy, and the economy, while also reflecting former President Donald Trump’s influence on the party.
Security is a significant concern for the event, with extensive preparations in place to ensure the safety of attendees, including an expanded security perimeter and a large contingent of law enforcement personnel.
This convention is a key event for the Republican Party as it gears up for the 2024 presidential election (GOPConvention2024) (Wikipedia) (Election Central).

In his first public speech since an assassination attempt, former President Trump took the stage at Day 4 of the Republican National Convention on Thursday. He formally accepted the GOP nomination for president for a third time. Trump is seeking a second term in the White House after he was elected back in 2016 and then lost to Joe Biden in 2020. The former president has been wearing a bandage on his right ear after he was struck with a bullet when a gunman, Thomas Crooks, opened fire during a weekend rally in Butler, Pennsylvania back on July 13th. Speaking about the shooting, Trump said, “God was on my side.” He also honored Corey Comperatore, the man killed in the rally shooting, in the video published on July 19, 2024, by LiveNOW from FOX, as “WATCH: Former President Trump FULL SPEECH at the 2024 RNC|LiveNOW FOX“, below:
