With Florida Governor Ron DeSantis out of the presidential race, the question now is: Can Nikki Haley upset Trump in New Hampshire primary and/or overall GOP primary?
Nikki Haley challenging Donald Trump in the New Hampshire primary would be a significant event in the political landscape. The dynamics of such a race would depend on several factors:
-
Political Climate: The overall political environment, including the popularity of the incumbent administration and the state of the economy, can greatly influence primary outcomes.
-
Campaign Strategies: The effectiveness of each candidate’s campaign strategy, including their ability to mobilize support and communicate their platform, would be crucial.
-
Voter Preferences: The preferences of Republican primary voters in New Hampshire, which can shift over time, would play a major role. New Hampshire voters are known for their independent streak and can sometimes be unpredictable in primaries.
-
Endorsements and Support: Endorsements from key party figures and grassroots support can significantly impact primary races.
-
Debate Performances and Media Coverage: How each candidate performs in debates and is portrayed in the media would influence public perception and voter decisions.
It’s important to keep in mind that political races can be very dynamic, and factors such as new developments, scandals, or changes in public opinion can rapidly alter the landscape. Let’s take a look:

As of 10:24 PM EST, of the 60% that had been reported: Donald Trump had received 53.8% of the votes & Nikki Haley had received 44.7% of the votes. More remain to be seen/counted.
As of 12:29 AM EST, of the 87% that had been reported: Donald Trump had received 54.5% of the votes & Nikki Haley had received 43.6% of the votes. More remain to be seen/counted.
