The integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare seeks to reduce diagnosis errors while increasing humanity, in the video published on Sep 3, 2023, by NHK WORLD-JAPAN, as “AI Hospitals: A Step Towards the Future – Science View“, below:
Healthcare is a complicated and siloed discipline, which requires doctors to build up decades of experience before they are top notch at their practice. It’s no wonder, because it’s really hard to see what’s going on inside a patient’s body from the outside. Furthermore, because of the amount of specialization needed to treat complex conditions, more holistic approaches are difficult to achieve within Western medicine. With AI, a lot of these challenges for doctors will be removed. AI can memorize and study far more cases and data than a human can, providing a valuable support tool to doctors (as we’ve seen already with radiology scans). AI can also help with treatment planning, predicting whether a patient’s body will respond well to specific treatments. In the future, AI will likely allow us to provide dynamically adjusted treatments as conditions and patient activities evolve. Further along, we might even see medical nanobots that provide sensory feedback or augment our own immune system, in the video published on Sep 10, 2023, by Dr Waku, as “Beyond human: the AI healthcare revolution“, below:
CBS News’ chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook sat down with Peter Lee, Microsoft’s vice president of research and innovation, to discuss artificial intelligence and medicine, in the video published on July 18, 2023, by CBS Mornings, as “Microsoft vice president on the future of AI and medicine“, below:
Google’s Med-PaLM 2, an AI model engineered for healthcare, leverages the power of language and medical reasoning, and builds upon the potential of OpenAI’s GPT-4 and PaLM 2 to revolutionize patient care and medical research. Med-PaLM 2, just unveiled at Google I/O 2023, demonstrates groundbreaking capabilities like acing U.S. medical exams and summarizing complex medical documents, making it a valuable tool in prestigious institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and the National Institutes of Health, in the video published on July 14, 2023, by AI Revolution, as “Google’s New AI Med-PaLM 2: The First AI DOCTOR“, below:
As artificial intelligence begins to reshape everything from schoolwork to art, it is also poised to transform your trip to the doctor. The technology is advancing quickly, but there is still room to grow for accuracy and inclusivity. NBC’s Jacob Ward reports for TODAY, in the video published on July 13, 2023, by TODAY, as “How AI could transform your future doctor visits“, below:
Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic idea. It’s already here, and it has turned out to be a powerful, disruptive force in healthcare fueling some of the most innovative diagnostic tools of today. Let’s take a look at 7 examples where AI has started to transform healthcare! In the video published on Dec 7, 2022, by The Medical Futurist, as “Top 7 AI Examples In Healthcare – The Medical Futurist“, below:
Join our President & CEO Stefan Vilsmeier as he shares his vision of the hospital of the future during his keynote speech ‘“AI in my hospital” – Applications of big data and artificial intelligence in hospitals’. Hosted by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health, this presentation took place at the Digital Health 2020 – EU on the Move Conference on November 11, 2020, in the video published on Nov 13, 2020, by Brainlab, as ““AI in my hospital” – Applications of big data and artificial intelligence in hospitals“, below:
A thought leader in the emerging technologies space, Raj combines her own medical experiences with her expertise in AI to discuss the possibilities of AI in healthcare. She gets realistic and tactical with these complex technological topics to discuss the current and future reality of AI technology and machine learning. Advancements in research and technology have saved her life; now CEO and founder of TinyBox Academy, Raj Hayer explores how we use technology and data, our AI addiction and why being part of the narrative is crucial as technological advancements continue to impact our daily lives. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community, in the video published on May 25, 2021, by TEDx Talks, as “Addicted to AI: A Patient’s Perspective on Big Data and Technology | TEDxUWMilwaukee“, below:
