Elon Musk is offering the option for possible solution to the fact that OpenAI is no longer not-for-profit and its close relationship to Microsoft by starting a new AI startup, X.AI or xAI.
Musk officially announced xAI in his Twitter account,[10] and a Twitter space took place on Friday, July 14, 2023.[11]
