Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink has just received approval from FDA to launch its first-in-human clinical study, starting to implant brain chips in human. Neuralink is helping blind people see and solving various neurological disorders such as seizures, dementia, strokes, depression, and possibly even help paralyzed people to walk.
Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink said on Thursday, June 1, 2023, that it has got an approval from the US Food and Administration to test its brain implants in people. The decision comes after the company’s application was rejected in early 2022, despite Musk’s multiple predictions that his brain-chip business will soon receive FDA approval for human trials.
