Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink has just received approval from FDA to launch its first-in-human clinical study, starting to implant brain chips in human. Neuralink is helping blind people see and solving various neurological disorders such as seizures, dementia, strokes, depression, and possibly even help paralyzed people to walk.
Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink said on Thursday, June 1, 2023, that it has got an approval from the US Food and Administration to test its brain implants in people. The decision comes after the company’s application was rejected in early 2022, despite Musk’s multiple predictions that his brain-chip business will soon receive FDA approval for human trials. The company worked through the agency’s concerns over the safety of the experimental implant, in the video published on May 26, 2023, by WION, as “Neuralink, Elon Musk’s Brain Implant Project, Approved for Human Testing| English News | WION“, below:

Elon Musk is getting ready to implant chips in your brain. His company Neuralink has announced that it has received necessary approvals to conduct clinical trials of its chips in humans. The company claims that the chips could help those with vision and mobility issues. The announcement, incidentally, came on a day when a Swiss company revealed a breakthrough in the technology, in the video published on May 29, 2023, by Business Today, as “Musk-Owned Swiss Lab Makes Paralysed Man Walk Again By Planting Chip Into His Brains“, below:
New Brain Implant Begins Human Trials – Neuralink Update! The Brain Computer Interface industry is progressing quickly and it’s not just Neuralink. Synchron has been approved for human trials by the FDA and Neuralink might not be far behind, in the video published on June 23, 2023, by The Tesla Space, as “New Brain Implant Begins Human Trials – Neuralink Update!” below:
The FDA gave the green light to Neuralink’s first-in-human clinical study, an important step for the brain implant startup as it deals with American inquiries into how it handled animal experimentation. The FDA’s approval “represents an important first step that will one day allow our technology to help many people,” Neuralink wrote in a tweet on Thursday, declining to provide further information on the intended study. The company said it is not hiring for the trial and promised to release additional information soon. The FDA stated that it had permitted Neuralink to deploy it’s brain implant and surgical robot in patient studies, but it made no further comment, in the video published on May 28, 2023, by UNT: US News Today!, as “Elon Musk Neuralink Brain Chips wins FDA approval for human study of brain implants!” below:
