Did you know that Disneyland Paris parking lot, with 67,000 solar panels, has one of the largest solar canopies in Europe? The aim is to reduce CO2 emissions by 750 tons per year. The solar panels will produce renewable energy that will not only account for 17% of the resort’s current power consumption, it will also shelter cars from the sun, rain, or snow, so to dramatically enhance visitors’ Disneyland Paris experience.
Perhaps it’s time to consider giving every parking lot everywhere an upgrade?!
“Disneyland Paris” is building one of Europe’s largest solar panels project in the parking lot for visitors. Almost the entire parking lot will be covered with solar panels. Good for the environment and guests benefit from a covered parking space!
