If every one would simply keep calm and sane, avoid behavior that would lead to conflicts or destructions, many believe and many will face a future of planet earth full of abundance and creativity. On this positive note, please allow me to share the book Superabundance and discussion between its authors Marian L. Tupy and Gale L. Pooley with Dr. Jordan Peterson.
Marian Tupy and Gale Pooley are co-authors of the new book, “Super Abundance”. They sit down with Dr Jordan B Peterson to discuss their studies into overpopulation, the myths surrounding the subject, and how academia has created a new philosophy that demonizes modern man simply for existing. Marian Tupy is the co-author of “Super Abundance”, as well as “10 Global Trends Every Smart Person Should Know” and “The Simon Abundance Index”. He is the current editor of humanprogress.org, and is a senior fellow at the center for global liberty and prosperity. Gale Pooley is the co-author of “Super Abundance,” and is also an Associate Professor of business management at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. He has taught economics all over the world, and earned his PHD from the University of Idaho. He is also well known for his role in the development of the Simon Abundance Index.

In the video above, the idea of time price and money price were discussed. These measurement units help us to realize the universal standard, and equality of time limit (every one has 24 hours per day) for all of us. Ultimately, authors believe that the superabundance or economic prosperity is the outcome of population x freedom. They also help us to realize just how much wealthier the modern men/women are as compared to men and women of earlier historical time periods. This is truly a book of rational optimism, with scientifically supported measurements.
In order to insure continuation of Super Abundance, it is important to:
- Avoid population collapse by avoiding punishment for having more children
- Have Freedom of Speech because it is the necessary ingredient for dynamic system to prevent stagnations or retrogression. Free speech and market are learning mechanisms.
- Avoid over-regulation or socialization of the markets
Remember these propositions:
- Wealth is fundamentally knowledge
- Growth is learning
- Money is time
in order to arrive at the theorem: We can measure the growth in knowledge with time.
Therefore: We define abundance as a measurement of time prices as they relate to adding more knowledge either making the money price lowered or increasing income or having a combination of both because it takes less and less time to earn the money to buy the same item and it’s a consequence of this growth and knowledge.
