While watching “Howie Mandel| Club Random with Bill Maher“, the discussion of using trampoline as a way to improve the health of human lymphatic system drainage surfaced. What an enjoyable way to approach the journey toward health for any one! Let’s take a look at how using trampoline would help with lymphatic system drainage.
Besides purifying the body and detoxifying body’s waste products by eating alkaline-rich foods (such as apples, bananas, broccoli, peppers and potatoes), the active lymphatic system ensures that the waste products in our cells are removed. The lymph is also important for an active immune system by hosting our white blood cells. Since it (the lymphatic system) needs specific muscles to function, lack of exercise or sitting for prolonged period of time may lead to inactive lymphatic flow. Such inactivity can cause thrombosis or lead to water retention and lymphatic congestion. If lymph fluid enters interstitial space (interstitium), lymphedema can develop or the affected area of the body can become swollen.
In order to prevent an inactive lymphatic system, apparently ten minutes of bouncing motion on the trampoline per day would help to release endorphins (helping to relief stress) while also activating the lymphatic system, as in the list of benefits and videos below:
