Pentagon press secretary John Kirby praised Ukrainian journalists for their brave coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. U.S. will make sure that the Ukrainian air defense will remain effective.  Pentagon is still analyzing the Lend-Lease Act, to see how Lend-Lease can be suited between U.S. and Ukraine. Secretary Kirby repeatedly emphasized that it is a war initiated by Russia, invading Ukraine, rather than a war between U.S. and Russia.
