Transparency, confidence building measures, and arms control provisions are all playing a part in advancing the cause of security of Trans-Atlantic Alliance as well as global security. Mr. Price reminds us that NATO has an open door policy: any country that aspires to join NATO and meets all requirement of NATO charter should be able to do so. There would be massive economic consequences if Russia would not stop her aggressive behavior. Trans-Atlantic community is prepared to take strong and decisive measures, even though U.S. preference is in diplomacy, dialogue, and de-escalation. U.S. is prepared for all contingency plans.
