After reading in Orlando Sentinel about Orange County of Florida wanting to mark $100 million to buy 23,000 acres of undeveloped land to protect and funding the program with $100 million from a sale of bonds, I remember coming across “2030 Orange County Sustainable Operations & Resilience Action Plan“, with goals in Energy & Climate Action, Building & Infrastructure, Water Use & Quality, Mobility & Fleet, Supply Chain & Materials Management, Trees & Lands. Earth Day 2021 marked an exciting new direction for Orange County Government.
