Here is a worthy GoFundMe project, created on July 22, 2021, with a goal of $2500, needing your support, in italics, below:
Hello Friends and Neighbors!
My name is Janine Matteson with Troop 320 and I am working on my BSA Eagle Project!
I am restoring the last remaining single room schoolhouse in Central Florida, which was built in 1887. The exterior still has original pine wood panels. My project is to replace 165 battens with rough hewn wood to be more historical accurate. The entire Schoolhouse will get a face lift when we clean off chipping paint, then prime and paint the 15’x22’x14′ exterior. The 165 battens will be affixed to the Schoolhouse.
If you would like to volunteer your time to assist with the painting or woodworking, you can find us at
113 W 7th Ave, Windermere, FL 34786 on July 31st and August 1st starting at 7:30am.
If you are able to contribute any donation, I would greatly appreciate your support of my Eagle Project restoration efforts!
Thank you ~ Yours In Scouting
