So far, there has been: $1,200 via the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act in March 2020, $600 in a December relief measure after December of 2020, $1,400 under the American Rescue Plan signed in March of 2021 by President Biden. Now more than 2.3 million people have signed a change.org petition started last year asking lawmakers to pass legislation for recurring $2,000 monthly payments. Twenty-one Democrat senators have signed a March 30 letter to President Biden, asking for recurring payments. But many small business owners claim that free money makes people not want to work. So, there is no 4th stimulus on the table at the moment. Instead, there is a $300 child tax credits that will begin monthly starting in July of 2021, in the video published on June 2, 2021, “Will there be a 4th Stimulus Check?“, below:
At this point, the rational and reasonable compromise seems to me to have been suggested by Andrew Yang, the Freedom Dividend (aka Universal Basic Income), of $1000 monthly recurring payments, to be funded by Value-Added Tax, to provide basic human dignity while also ensuring small businesses being able to find hired help. Will There be a fourth stimulus check or is the 4th stimulus check dead on arrival? A group of 5 republicans and 5 democrats have reached an agreement on the American Jobs Plan. The new bill will spend $1.2 trillion over 8 year period and only need $579 billion in new money. By passing the bill in a bipartisan way, this opens up a path for democrats to put whatever they want into the next stimulus package or American Families Plan, including a 4th stimulus checks, free daycare, free community college and more. The group also says because of the lower dollar amount, it won’t be necessary to raise taxes except maybe the gasoline tax, in the video published on June 11, 2021, “GOOD NEWS! | Fourth Stimulus Check Update | Bi-Partisan Bill Reached“, below:
As CBS News’ Omar Villafranca reports, the Labor Department says 376,000 Americans filed first-time unemployment claims last week — marking the lowest level since the pandemic began. But many businesses say they’re having trouble filling open position. Joe Minarik, senior vice president and director of research for the Committee for Economic Development, joins CBSN’s Lana Zak to discuss the new unemployment numbers and America’s continuing economic recovery, in the video published on June 10, 2021, “New unemployment claims reach lowest levels of the pandemic, but some businesses struggling to fi—“, below:
4th Stimulus Check Update – Current Status Report up to June 2021 Thank you for joining our daily news report where we give you a summary of important news and get straight to the point, in the video published on June 13, 2021, “4th Stimulus Check Update – Will the Democrats Issue the $2,000 Stimulus Check?”
Fourth stimulus check may be on the way, in the video published on June 2, 2021, “Fourth stimulus check may be on the way“, below:
So, it is not yet certain whether there will be a fourth stimulus check. What is certain is the child tax credit. So, don’t waste your money. I would also like to reiterate: At this point, the rational and reasonable compromise seems to me to have been suggested by Andrew Yang, the Freedom Dividend (aka Universal Basic Income), of $1000 monthly recurring payments, to be funded by Value-Added Tax, to provide basic human dignity (in light of the unemployment that will be displaced by automation, robotics, and AI) while also ensuring small businesses being able to find hired help.

I am a mother/wife/daughter, math professor, solar advocate, world traveler, yogi, artist, photographer, sharer of knowledge/information, and resident of Windermere, FL. I've worked professionally in applied math, engineering, medical research, and as a university math professor in IL and FL for about 20 years. My husband and I loved Disney and moved down to Central Florida initially as snowbirds. But we've come to love the warmth and friendly people offered by this community and decided to move down to Windermere, FL full time in 2006. I am now spending time sharing information/ knowledge online, promoting understanding of math and solar energy (via http://www.sunisthefuture.net ), and developing Windermere Sun (http://www.WindermereSun.com) as an online publication, sharing and promoting Community ABC's (Activities-Businesses-Collaborations) for healthier/happier/more sustainable living. In the following posts, I'll be sharing with you some of the reasons why Windermere has attracted us to become full-time residents of Central Florida region.
