Despite the fact that top Republicans in Congress have been working to stop the formation of an independent bipartisan Jan. 6 Commission to investigate the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, the House voted, with 252 yea’s and 175 nay’s, to approve Jan. 6 Commission on Wednesday, May 19, 2021
