On Thursday, May 6, 2021, Universal Studio of Orlando no longer does temperature screening prior to entering the Universal theme park. There are also modification to social distancing (from 6′ to 3′) and high touch areas, under the guidance of local authority and CDC. Universal still has team members stationed around the parking garages to make sure all guests have masks on upon arrival. Welcome Safety Hosts are still at entrance of Islands of Adventure of Universal Studio at Florida, greeting and reminding people about safety (wearing mask & offering hand sanitizer), in the video published on May 6, 2021, “Universal Orlando Modifies Social Distancing, Ride Capacity and Temperature Screenings At Parks“, below:
