So allow me to share this video below.Tesla has shared a rare look at Gigafactory Shanghai’s Model Y production line with a video of how it does mega casting of Model Y at Giga Shanghai, in the video “Tesla Shows Rare Video of Mega Casting of Model Y at Giga Shanghai“, below:
As we transition into the age when robots will be making robots and cars will be becoming self-driving, there will be much change in the scene of insurance industry, auto industry, human employment rate or how students need to educated in this new world. As our world changes, it becomes even more important that our lawmakers are tech savvy or tech literate and start to anticipate the need of universal basic income.
Tesla’s gigantic Gigafactory 1 in Sparks, Nevada has been able to churn out battery packs for the company’s groundbreaking line of electric vehicles at the rate of around 5,000 a week for some considerable time now. In terms of sheer volume, that puts Elon Musk’s operation in a stronger position than all other rival electric car companies put together. This is an important factor in the company’s soaring share price, and by extension Musks world-beating bank balance. So how on earth are they accomplishing it – and how much quicker can Elon Musk’s groundbreaking firm potentially go? Today, we’re donning our hard-hats for a look behind the scenes at exactly how Tesla builds batteries so fast. Elon Musk has made no secret of the fact that one of the main stumbling blocks he faces on his way to weaning humanity off the internal combustion engine is the quality and capacity of the batteries his cars use. Making a car run on electricity is easy enough, apparently. But storing enough precious juice on-board to make owning an electric car a comparable or even superior proposition than regular gas guzzlers has thus far proven elusive, in the video “How Tesla Builds Batteries So Fast“, below:
With many countries setting deadlines to completely shift to renewable energy, there will be tremendous pressure on the battery companies to improve efficiency, capacity without increasing the cost. We come to a stark reality that inorder to make Tesla’s viable the price of a Tesla car should come down drastically. Just for reference, the cheapest car sold in India is Tata NANO which is priced around $1369. With a per capita income of around $3000, it will be far fetched to say that an average person in India would be able to afford an electric car. Many developing economies like India and other countries which make up more than 70% of the population in the planet, it would be quite difficult for the entire world to shift to renewable energy without first making it affordable. In this video We show How Tesla plans to tackle this problem and make not only their automobiles more affordable but also their Energy storage utilities, in the video “How Tesla’s Next Gen Batteries Will Power 21st Century“, below:
I am a mother/wife/daughter, math professor, solar advocate, world traveler, yogi, artist, photographer, sharer of knowledge/information, and resident of Windermere, FL. I've worked professionally in applied math, engineering, medical research, and as a university math professor in IL and FL for about 20 years. My husband and I loved Disney and moved down to Central Florida initially as snowbirds. But we've come to love the warmth and friendly people offered by this community and decided to move down to Windermere, FL full time in 2006. I am now spending time sharing information/ knowledge online, promoting understanding of math and solar energy (via http://www.sunisthefuture.net ), and developing Windermere Sun (http://www.WindermereSun.com) as an online publication, sharing and promoting Community ABC's (Activities-Businesses-Collaborations) for healthier/happier/more sustainable living. In the following posts, I'll be sharing with you some of the reasons why Windermere has attracted us to become full-time residents of Central Florida region. Please feel free to leave your comments via email at "Contact Us" in the topbar above or via info.WindermereSun@gmail.com.
