Both political parties are getting closer to agree on the second stimulus package. Both agree on: more unemployment benefit, a second round of PPP, helping out people with rents and mortgages, giving money to schools and hospitals, food programs, etc. Even though some suggested to pass the portion both parties agreed on and wait to resolve the remaining portion at a later time, Nancy Pelosi does not want to do it in piece meal but prefers to have the all or nothing approach, wanting to make sure testing, contact tracing, and treatments for COVID-19 to be taken more seriously, more funding for state and local governments and unemployed Americans.
