On Friday, September 25, 2020, Florida State Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida is moving onto the Phase III of reopening, lifting restrictions on restaurants and other businesses statewide. Local governments may still have some restrictions (for example, requiring wearing face covering in public). Florida businesses will have fewer restrictions as Gov. Ron DeSantis announces a further relaxation of the measures set up to prevent the spread of COVID-19. What that means for local businesses remains to be seen, in the video “Florida Gov. Governor Ron DeSantis is moving the state into Phase 3 of reopening. Many restrictions and bans are lifted. Local governments may still place some restrictions (such as wearing face covering in public). To slow the spread of COVID-19, many local governments are still requiring wearing face covering in public. This is a good compromise as restaurants and businesses are phasing into Phase III of reopening of state of Florida.
