On the evening of Monday, May 4, 2020, Tesla founder Elon Musk and girlfriend singer Claire Elise Boucher (stage name: Grimes) welcomed their baby boy, X Æ A-12 Musk. The baby X Æ A-12 Musk is the sixth child and son of Elon Musk and first baby of Grimes, in the video “Grimes and Elon Musk Announce Birth of Baby Boy, RS News 5/6/50“, below
Yes, the name of their baby is: X Æ A-12 Musk. I kid you not! If you’re curious as to what does
X Æ A-12 mean, here is the explanation from baby’s mom, Grimes, below:

After Grimes and Elon Musk explain why they named their son “X Æ A-12”, Roz Weston and Graeme O’Neil react during “ET Canada Live” in the video “Grimes, Elon Musk Explain Baby Name“, below:
The “Art Angels” singer & SpaceX scientist welcome a baby boy into the world…but how exactly do you say X Æ A-12? “E! News” is on the case! In the video “How to Say Elon Musk & Grimes’ Baby Name: X Æ A-12, E! News“, below:
Now, the question is: whether or not X Æ A-12 can be a legally registered name, because in California, there are rules stipulating that legally registered names cannot be pictographs, ideograms and diacritical marks . Names have to be composed of the 26 alphabets.
Wanting to name one’s baby unique name is not uncommon. In New Zealand, the name “4Real” was not allowed because names cannot start with a number in New Zealand. In 1991, a Swedish couple refused to give their newborn a legal name, in protest of existing naming laws. In 1996, they were fined for not registering a name for their child for five years, after they unsuccessfully tried to register the child’s name as Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116, and then as “A”. In Sweden, in 2007, a couple went to the high court to have their daughter named “Metallica“. However, in Scotland, in 2014, three babies were named: M, R, and T. Other names such as Daiquiri and Spartacus have also shown up in the National Records of Scotland.
Please also refer to the Wikipedia page on the “Naming law in Sweden”, in italics, below:
In 2009, the Swedish Tax Authority refused to allow a couple to name their son “Allah”. The basis of the decision was that the name could be seen as objectionable for religious reasons, and that some people might take offense at such a name for the same reason “Jesus” is not allowed as a name in some countries.
As of 31 December, 2018, 245 people living in Sweden had Allah as a first name (or middle name), and 3 people in Sweden had Allah as surname.
Other unusual names such as King’s Judgement, Noble Fall, and Cholera Plague have also appeared in the 18th and 19th centuries.
So, we shall see how Elon and Grimes’ will pronounce the name for their new baby boy.
So, May The Force Be With You, the one born on 5/4/2020….
