How About Bill Gates As The COVID-19 Czar?

As the news of various notable celebrities (such as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Captain Crozier) and politicians (such as Boris Johnson, Mario Diaz-Balart, Ben McAdams, Rand Paul, Mike Kelly, etc.) testing positive for COVID-19 increased daily, plus general public’s displeasure toward the way President Trump had been handling the spread of COVID-19 (such as: the White House dismantled the National Security Council’s global health security ,Trump telling Americans that COVID-19 is a hoax early on and not take it seriously, not requesting all 50 governors for stay-at-home orders, not taking the responsibility of providing federal assistance for medical supplies or tests to states in need early on and said , not implementing Defense Production Act much earlier, etc.) one cannot help but wonder if it would be a good idea for our exhausted president to appoint a COVID-19 Czar, one who had much experience with pandemic, public health, financial and tech sectors, and CEO of a large organization in the past and currently have more time to devote concentrated effort working on COVID-19, to take on the task of being the ordering and distribution clerk of medical supplies, carrying out digital data tracking, and educating and informing the general public on public health policy. It is a difficult task, not likely to invite grade A for politicians and best be left to scientists and techies.
I actually do have some one in mind: How about Bill Gates?!

Need I say more? Bill Gates is the most qualified candidate for this job. President Trump and Vice President Pence have a country to run. It is best to assign a COVID-19 Czar with experience in public health, research in pandemic, experience in organizing large corporation, and the willingness and time to focus on this difficult task.
So, until we see Mr. Bill Gates being appointed in this position, let’s all try to stay home! Wear mask or scarf or some coverings for mouth and nose when in public area. As for individual citizens, please wash your hands often (each time for at least 20 seconds), get tested if and when you can, stop shaking hands, observe social distancing (staying at least 6 feet from others), be sure to get sufficient rest, be well nourished, exercised, drink plenty of hot water and ginger tea, and decrease unnecessary social contacts.
Some of the basics needed in prepping for potential self-quarantine:
- Hand cleanser (soap & water & hand sanitizer)
- Cleaning products: for cleaning household surfaces such as countertops, faucets, door knobs, drawer pulls, light switches, telephone, handles of brooms, mops, etc., for reference list suggested by CDC, click HERE.)
- Laundry detergent
- Food (at least 3 weeks worth of staples: beans, pasta, rice, canned vegetables, frozen food, canned soup, shelf-stable milk, or dehydrated food, etc.)
- Water (be it in bottled water form or activated carbon filter pitcher and/or distiller)
- Face masks
- Prescription meds (talk to your doctor as to how much of your prescription meds need to be stocked)
- Over-the-counter medicine (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, cough medicine, etc.)
- Thermometer
- Robust WiFi
- Video conferencing services
- Entertainment (check out: Netflix’s Pandemic & Amazon’s Contagion)
- Exercise guides or equipment
