In the United States, over 160 cases and 11 deaths have been linked to the COVID-19 virus. Overall, there are over 95,000 confirmed cases worldwide and over 3,000 people have died from the virus since the outbreak. On Thursday, March 5, 2020, the U.S. Senate Homeland Security committee held a hearing on containing the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
