After hours of debate that started at 9:00 am ET this morning that will likely to last all day, Wednesday, December 18, 2019, this full House historic vote will all but certain to result in Trump’s impeachment. It’s also likely to expect a mix of parliamentary tactics to disrupt the proceedings, theatrics, and fiery exchanges. A simple majority vote is needed in order for Trump to be impeached. The U.S. House will vote on the impeachment articles approved last week by the House Judiciary panel against U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump is facing two articles of impeachment by House Democrats: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The “Abuse of Power” points to Trump pressuring Ukraine to investigate 2020 political rival Joe Biden while withholding hundreds of millions of dollars of military aid ( which Ukraine relies on to counter Russia) as leverage. After an hour of debate on the “rule” governing the proceedings, six hours of debate on the articles will be divided equally between Democrats and Republicans, who could introduce procedural obstacles that would stretch the proceedings into the evening, in the video “WATCH live: House votes on articles of impeachment against President Trump“, below:
In the end, by 8:51 pm ET, both Articles of Impeachment: 1. Abuse of Power and 2. Obstruction of Congress are adopted.

*It is important for us all, Americans, to remember that we are a nation of laws, not of men. We are a nation that believes in the rule of law and our Constitution. Therefore, no one branch of government can dominate another.
