On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, House Democrats accused President Donald Trump of systematically abusing powers of his office by pressuring Ukraine to launch investigation of Trump’s opponent of 2020 presidential election. The 300-page report by the Democratic led House Intelligence Committee concluded that Trump had “compromised national security to advance his personal political interests” and then tried to prevent Congress from uncovering the truth.
