A federal appeals court heard oral arguments on Oct. 23 in a case that could force President Donald Trump to release his tax returns. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals listened to arguments from Trump’s lawyers and from attorneys representing Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr., whose office subpoenaed the president’s tax returns.
