Below, you will find the repost of our September 4, 2019 post, as a reminder for the Third Democratic Presidential Debate on Thursday, September 12, 2019, on ABC and Univision (with Spanish translation), between 8:00 pm-11:00 pm EDT.
The Third Democratic presidential debate will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Texas Southern University, a public historically black university in Houston, TX, from 8:00 pm-11:00 pm EDT, also available on ABC and Univision channels. A livestream of the debate will be available on the ABCNews.com website and apps as well as Hulu Live, The Roku Channel, and Facebook Watch. The moderators will be George Stephanopoulos, David Muir, Linsey Davis, and Jorge Ramos.
The criteria for candidates to qualify for the third debate are: candidates had to receive 2% or more support in at least four national polls, or polls conducted in the early-voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and/or Nevada and publicly released between June 28 and Aug. 28. In addition, they had to receive donations from at least 130,000 unique donors with a minimum of 400 unique donors per state in at least 20 states.

Amy Klobuchar, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Andrew Yang, Beto O’Rourke, and Julian Castro.
Wednesday, August 28, 2019, was the deadline to meet the polling and fundraising thresholds for September’s (Wed., Sep. 12, 2019) Democratic presidential debates, and ten candidates have made the cut. Democratic presidential contender Julian Castro got some good news this week. Castro became the 10th Democrat to qualify for next month’s Democratic presidential debate in Houston, Texas. But several other Democrats likely will not make the cut for the next debate, hampering their chances of building support in the crowded and at times chaotic primary battle.
