Eighteen years have passed since the twin towers of the World Trade Center of New York City were brought down by two terrorists commandeered airplanes. Families would gather at ground zero, where nearly 3,000 people died on that September morning. Now an annual rite of remembrance, commemoration at ground zero, began with an honor guard carrying the flag, in the video “September 11 terrorist attacks: US marks 18 years since 9/11 carnage“, below:
United Flight 93 – 40 lives lost, The Pentagon – 184 lives lost, World Trade Center – 2,753 lives lost, of the 2,753 there were 343 Firefighters and 60 Law Enforcement
