Just a quick reminder that even though the DNC voted down in holding an official presidential climate debate, TV networks stepped up: CNN will be hosting a seven hour marathon interviews with 10 presidential candidates about climate change on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 starting at 5:00 pm EDT as part of the climate crisis town hall; MSNBC will hold a climate change forum to give voice to Democrats denied the debate stage and one Republican on Sep. 19 & 20, 2019 (details will be announced later). A livestream of the town hall will air on CNN.com (go.cnn.com and read term of use) or be available via CNN apps on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, and Android TV. The forum will also be broadcasted on SiriusXM Channels 116, 454, 795, and the Westwood One Radio Network.
Climate change is one of the most important issues for our future as well as during 2020 Presidential Election. As a result of the effort by many climate activists around the globe, this issue is being given the attention it rightly deserves.
Order of the interviews on September 4, 2019, at CNN will follow:
- Julian Castro will be interviewed by Wolf Blitzer at 5:00 pm EDT
- Andrew Yang will be interviewed by Wolf Blitzer at 5:40 pm EDT
- Kamala Harris will be interviewed by Erin Burnett at 6:20 pm EDT
- Amy Klobuchar will be interviewed by Erin Burnett at 7:00 pm EDT
- Joe Biden will be interviewed by Anderson Cooper at 8:00 pm EDT
- Bernie Sanders will be interviewed by Anderson Cooper at 8:40 pm EDT
- Elizabeth Warren will be interviewed by Chris Cuomo at 9:20 pm EDT
- Pete Buttigieg will be interviewed by Chris Cuomo at 10:00 pm EDT
- Beto O’Rourke will be interviewed by Don Lemon at 10:40 pm EDT
- Cory Booker will be interviewed by Don Lemon at 11:20 pm EDT
There will be selected Democrats, independents, and stakeholders among the audience. No pubic tickets will be issued.
