The New York Times reports that those who know President Trump are worried about his erratic recent behavior, in the video “Ex-advisers worried about Trump’s behavior, NYT reports“, below:
What is alarming is the fact that within 24 hours, President Trump did:
- Labeled Jews who voted Democrat “disloyal”
- Praised supporter who referred to him as “second coming of God”
- Called himself the “chosen one”
- Attacked Prime Minister of Denmark as “nasty” for calling Trump’s plan to buy Greenland “absurd”
- Shifted, flip flopped, reversed on background checks
- Threatened to send ISIS suspects to European allies
- Blamed Obama 20+ times in span of 30 minutes
In an earlier article (in 2018) of The Opinion Pages in The New York Times, by an Anonymous White House Official, in bold italics, below:
“Meetings with him veer off topic and off the rails, he engages in repetitive rants, and his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back. It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room.“
The unconventional Trump presidency has given us a series of inter-party primary challenges to a sitting president, 3 Republican challengers below:
- William (Bill) Weld, former Governor of Massachusetts
- Mark Sanford, former Governor of South Carolina
- Joe Walsh, former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois
There is now an organization looking for Republican challenger to Trump, Defending Democracy Together, executive director of Defending Democracy Together Sarah Longwell, trying to take Trumpism out of the Republican Party.
Former WH Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci is considering a primary run against President Trump. He joined MTP Daily today to discuss why, in the video “Full Scaramucci: The President Is Having A ‘Total Mental Breakdown’, MTP Daily, MSNBC“, below:
