Shouldn’t “accepting help from foreign sources” be considered as breaking the Emolument Clause?
Part of the problem with regard to Emolument Clause is that we don’t have Supreme Court precedent. The only way that there will be a judicial interpretation is if there were impeachment hearings. If there will not be any impeachment hearing, then this would essentially change the course of American history, rewriting the U.S. Constitution that will forever transform the spirit of ideals of United States of America and America will no longer be the America that we once knew and believed in.
It is clear that Donald Trump has greater trust in foreign government’s information over our own FBI’s. It is clear that Donald Trump does not clearly understand international motivations among nations. It is dangerous for USA now as well as in 2020.
