Contrary to what Donald Trump had led people to believe that he is the best deal maker there is, the New York Times reported that Trump’s business disclosed losses of $1.17 billion between 1985 to 1994 in his businesses. In fact, in 1990 and 1991, Donald Trump lost more than a quarter of a billion dollars each year.
Congressional Democrats are expected to decide Thursday whether to go to court to obtain President Trump’s recent tax returns. Though there has long been curiosity over Trump’s taxes, which he declined to release in 2016, interest in them resurfaced after a New York Times investigation uncovered past tax records and large business losses. CNN’s Don Lemon chastises President Donald Trump after The New York Times reported that Trump’s businesses disclosed losses of $1.17 billion from 1985 to 1994, citing information from tax documents from those years, in the video “Lemon: Trump is a con man and the con is on Americans“, below:
The New York Times obtained ten years of Donald Trump’s tax information, beginning in the mid-1980s, and the Times found Trump lost $1.17 billion from 1985 to 1994. Susanne Craig, one of the story’s reporters, joins Morning Joe to discuss, in the video “‘These Are Massive Business Losses’: NYT Reporter On PResident Donald Trump, Morning Joe, MSNBC“, below:
According to New York Times, Trump lost so much that he was able to avoid paying income taxes for 8 out of the 10 years. If all Americans would follow the footsteps of Donald Trump, the American economy will surely collapse faster than any one can imagine. Just think, if Donald Trump had not run for the President of the United States, his con could have gone on indefinitely.
