Despite the fact that measles was essentially eliminated about 19 years ago, U.S. measles cases have reached record high in 25 years. This year, more than 600 cases had already been confirmed in 22 states, with New York battling the most outbreaks. The outbreak comes at a time when more and more parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children.
