GOP Senate Blocked The Bill To Close Gun Law Loophole
Dear Friends & Neighbors,

(Please click on red links & note magenta)
Recently the House passed two bills to strengthen background checks and to close a loophole related to the infamous mass murder at a black church in Charleston. MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent, Ari Melber, walks through how the same Republicans in Congress who expressed “thoughts and prayers” after the mass murder committed by Dylann Roof, blocked a bill that would have closed the loophole ( enabling hundreds of thousands of prohibited buyers to get guns without completing a background check, according to a report at ThinkProgress.) that allowed him to purchase a gun. Senator Mitch McConnell‘s offices tells “The Beat” no gun vote is currently scheduled, in the video “GOP Senators Eviscerated Over Bill To Keep Gun From Convict, The Beat With Ari Melber, MSNBC“, below:
- updating and upgrading the system (hardware and software) so that the background check system would be able to respond much more quickly.
- every one in USA joins NRA so that we would have greater influence over future direction of NRA.
