On this President’s Day, Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, protests were held across the USA in opposition to President Donald Trump’s national emergency declaration from last week. Americans realize how important it is to protect our Constitution and exercise our freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Americans understand the necessity of separation of powers in order to prevent tyranny or fascism. On this day, more than any other day, Americans are celebrating the President’s Day (third Monday of every February) most creatively through signs, music, balloons, paper mâché, expressing the need to resist President Trump’s national emergency declaration.
