Gardeners of Central Florida! Don’t forget that for two days in early February, in 2019, it’ll be on Feb. 2 & 3, 2019, Vero Beach’s Riverside Park will be transforming into one of the largest free and family-friendly garden shows in Florida, at Gardenfest! Visitors and gardeners from various parts of the Florida and USA to stroll under oaks and enjoy the amazing demonstrations, lectures, vendors, food, and raffle prizes. Many will arrive with their wagons in tow, ready to bring home the treasures they will find.
Gardenfest! – Nature’s Finest Marketplace is hosted by the Garden Club of Indian River County and celebrates everything garden. Gardenfest! This year over 85 vendors have been hand-selected to assure an incredible selection of plants and garden accessories.
At Gardenfest! plants for sale include palms, ferns, orchids, bromeliads, Florida natives, herbs, succulents, bamboo, fruit trees, bonsai, roses and geraniums. There are also planters, pottery, fountains, furniture, lighting, statuary and other garden accessories.
In addition, the crowd favorite, “Ask the Experts,” returns each day with free lectures, demonstrations and Q & A sessions all led by local authorities.
When it’s time to take a break, rest under the oaks and enjoy fabulous food vendors, including a Vero Beach favorite, 14 Bones. There are activities for the younger gardeners too, and don’t forget tickets for the wonderful raffle prizes. From golf packages, to restaurant and theatre, entertainment, spa treatments, jewelry, art work – there’s a package for everyone.
Proceeds from Gardenfest! help fund the club’s community outreach programs aimed at enhancing, preserving and beautifying the landscape of Indian River County.
