National Weather Service predicted that Chicago will see its coldest temperature in nearly 25 years on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. More than 20 million Americans had been in the path of a brutal winter storm and life-threatening low temperatures since Monday, January 28, 2019, with blizzard and winter storm warning in effect across the Midwest.
