As the pace of life and progress accelerated, Central Floridians, as people from many corners of this planet, had been looking toward the future with anticipation and apprehension. The good news is: there were quite a few innovative and creative individuals and organizations in Central Florida, in the past decade, having already worked toward the future for our community, in the area of energy, agriculture, education, transportation, healthcare, etc. On Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, These innovators and entrepreneurs gathered at Dr. Phillips Center of Orlando, Florida, to celebrate what they had accomplished and to share their views of the future with many community leaders.
This event was organized by ORTA (Orlando Regional Tech Association). Bruno Sousa, chair of ORTA, introduced the event, and Jim Thomas, CEO of ORTA, introduced all the speakers.
