Despite over a year of Trump’s claim of “No Collusion“, Trump’s incoherent attorney Rudy Giuliani today is using the muddy-the-water defense of “Collusion is not a crime” to defend the president. So, is Giuliani conceding that President Trump did collude with Russia?! Is collusion by the President of the United States with an adversarial nation acceptable to the American public?!
As Ari Melber indicated in the video below: if one is accused of murder, the best defense is usually denial (didn’t do it!). But if there is strong evidence that one did kill some one, then the next line of defense is justification (for example, killing due to self-defense). So Trump’s current attorney Giuliani has moved Trump from denial to justification.
Fellow Americans, are we in a dream?!
Each and every one of us will have to decide what will truly be good for our nation individually, rather than through the lens of partisanship. So we can wake up from this night mare.
