Bring your friends and family out to this most celebrated holiday in East Asia, the Lunar New Year Festival. FREE ADMISSION. The Year of the Dog marks the 7th Annual Central Florida Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival held in Orlando, Florida. It will take place at Mills 50 District, on Feb. 25, 2018, at 728 N. Since we are located in Central Florida, Land of the Disney, it is only appropriate for me to share some information about Year of the Dog via this cartoon, below:
This year, the US Postal Service is celebrating the Year of the Dog with a new Forever Stamp with a lucky bamboo and a dog design and by graphic artist Clarence Lee. Douglas Chong, president of Hawaii Chinese History Center and Father of the Year tells us that it is time to be introspective, cautious, be actively doing things instead of procrastinating. It is also going to be an auspicious year to wear brown, yellow, beige, and/or balance with green, or blue colors. The idea is to either to align or to balance with the animal (in this case, dog).
Who will come out on top as Danny Ings, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alberto Moreno and Loris Karius take on a special challenge to mark the Year of the Dog, below:
