Let’s Help Scott Pruitt, 14th EPA Administrator, To Become More Enlightened

During an interview aired on KSNV, a Nevada television station, on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Chief Administrator Scott Pruitt, alluded that global warming may be beneficial to humans, therefore questioning the world leading scientists’ belief that the global warming/climate change as one of the greatest known threats to mankind. Pruitt questioned how accurately scientists would be able to predict planet’s ideal temperature in 2100, or this year, and said humans had “flourished” in times of past warmth. He further added, “Do we really know what the ideal surface temperature should be in the year 2100, in the year 2018?“
There has long been a near-unanimous consensus that the climate is changing at a progressively faster rate/pace, and that humans are the primary cause. World leaders and global organizations have declared the phenomenon (global warming/climate change) one of the most pressing threats to humanity and have warned that unless the world works to halt greenhouse gas emissions from the burning of fossil fuels, a host of climate-related effects could devastate the planet earth.
But Pruitt and the Trump administration supporters have long downplayed the effects of climate change or outright rejected that it is happening (despite a White House report released in November that said humans were the dominant cause of global warming). Pruitt told CNBC a year ago, just weeks after he assumed his role at the EPA, that he rejected the science behind climate change and that President Donald Trump himself has called it a hoax manufactured by the Chinese. Government agencies across USA have also moved to dismantle much of former President Barack Obama’s climate legacy, including unraveling the Clean Water Act, the Clean Power Plan and dramatically scaling back several national monuments in Utah and opening them up to mining claims.
At this point, I’d like to remind us all that Scott Pruitt, despite his current position, has made some progress from his previous view of denying the human activities as the primary contributor to climate change. I would like all of you out there who would like to see policies to help slow down the climate change/global warming by helping to enlighten Chief Administrator Scott Pruitt by sending him letters or messages of evidences supporting the proof of climate change as one of the greatest known threats to humanity.

Mr. Pruitt, we need to dramatically improve energy efficiency, transition into renewable energy and electrical vehicles quickly, reduce food waste, better planning for coastal cities, and find better ways to reuse, reduce, and recycle. We need to motivate people throughout the planet in the same direction, regardless which nation one is from because our home is the planet earth.
