Peterson, shared below. Peterson’s views on gender have amassed great deal of controversy, and a huge online following. He discusses the pay gap, patriarchy in his book “12 Rules for Life.“The issue regarding gender pay gap is a complex one, requiring consideration of multiple variables. In Peterson’s view, success for women would require assertiveness, competitiveness, ability to negotiate, and not being too agreeable. He also argues that the consumer market sets the game and since 80% of the consumer decisions are made by women, women would probably be able to have more impact on the market if they are better negotiator, competitor, and be less agreeable, without needing to become more masculine.
