What was once the topic of folklores, fantasy novels, and science-fiction films may become a reality in the not too distant future. The possibility of human immortality and exponential technological growth has become a rather realistic goal for many futurists to look forward to and strive toward. Although this is a topic pregnant with much controversies and potential restructuring of our human society, the prospect of immortal human kind is both thrilling and full of trepidation.
