The news below have just come down the wire:

• Trump has asked his advisers about presidential power to pardon aides, family members, and himself in connection with the probe.
• Some of President Trump’s lawyers are exploring ways to limit or undercut special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s Russia investigation of possible collusion between Trump campaign and Moscow, building a case against what they allege are his conflict of interest and discussing the president’s authority to grant pardons.
• Trump’s legal team declined to comment on the issue. But one adviser said the president was expressing his curiosity in understanding the reach of his pardoning authority, as well as the limits of Mueller’s investigation.”This is not in the context of, ‘I can’t wait to pardon myself,” a close adviser said.

Keep in mind that if Trump blankedly pardons his aides, family members, and himself, then there  lies the admission or confession of guilt.

The Washington Post report came in a week after reports that Donald Trump Jr., son of President Donald Trump, met in June of 2016 with a Russian attorney who promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Presidential candidate during 2016 election. Donald Trump Jr., President Trump, and various administration members have come under fire following these reports of the meeting, further adding to the speculation that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

George F. Will of The Washington Post and various other journalists reminds us  the necessity of follow the money.

In the United States, the pardon power for federal crimes is granted to the President of the United States under Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution which states that the President “shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment ...
