Tesla Leading The Charge!!!
Dear Friends & Neighbors,

(Please click on red links & note magenta)
Quite a few of my friends in Florida and else where are anxiously awaiting for Tesla’s first mass-market vehicle, Model 3, to arrive. With the increasing demand for Tesla’s EV’s: Model S, Model X , and Model 3, Tesla/Elon Musk (they are synonymous in my book) is making charging a high priority, aiming charging to be convenient, abundant, and reliable for all Tesla owners. In April of 2017, Tesla discussed plans to expand the Supercharger Network in Charging Is Our Priority. They’ve also updated their interactive Map of Superchargers.
In addition to the currently existing 15 operational Supercharger Stations in Florida, Tesla’s plan will be adding 15 more new stations by the end of 2017, listed below:
- Altamonte Springs
- Aventura
- Boca Raton
- Florida City
- Fort Myers
- Live Oak
- Miami-Brickell
- Miami-Wynwood
- Orlando
- Plantation
- Sarasota
- St. Petersburg
- West Melbourne
- West Palm Beach
- Yeehaw Junction
Tesla had energized the Supercharger network in 2012, and built over 5,400 Superchargers with the goal of enabling convenient long distance travel for more than 200,000 Tesla owners around the world. Furthermore, Tesla built a network of more than 9,000 Destination Charging connectors that replicate the convenience of home charging by providing hotels, resorts, and restaurants with Tesla Wall connectors. It is with certainty that Tesla will continue to invest in charging infrastructure. In 2017, Tesla started the year with over 5,000 Superchargers globally. By the end of 2017, Tesla will double that number to more than 10,000 Superchargers and 15,000 Destination Charging connectors around the world. In North America, Tesla will increase the number of Superchargers by 150% and in California, Tesla will add more than 1,000 Superchargers. Tesla will be building larger sites along the busiest travel routes that will accommodate several dozen Tesla’s Supercharging simultaneously. Many sites will be built further off the highway to allow local Tesla drivers to charge quickly.
(Please share this post with others and remind people not to park in Tesla Superchargers spots if you are not in need of Tesla charging station.)
Tesla continues to lead the industry with most advanced charging technology while expanding the networks to insure the seamless charging experience for its drivers. Supercharger map and network expansion plans are HERE.
