Those of you who reside in Central Florida area and are contemplating starting a small business in the near future, there is a very resourceful organization, SCORE, you may want to consider getting in touch with. As its name suggests: SOCRE, For The Life of Your Business, it is designed to increase the chance of success for small business owners, by creating seminars, workshops, and mentoring programs.
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, there will be a FREE seminar on the topic of, “You, Your Business, How SCORE Can Help“, from 9:30 am,-12:30 pm., at National Entrepreneur Center-Fashion Square Mall, 3201 E. Colonial Dr., Suite A-20, Orlando, FL 32803. SCORE or the SCORE Association was previously known as the Service Corps of Retired Executives, but is now recognized as SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business.” It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free business mentoring services to entrepreneurs in the United States. The organization also presents business workshops and seminars for a fee. Business mentoring services are provided by both active and retired business executives and entrepreneurs who donate their time and expertise as mentors to assist new and established small businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. It is based in Herndon, Virginia.
