Further updates concerning the Russian interference with U.S. 2016 Election. Below is a video of interview with Senator McCain commenting on his concern regarding the process in the future, below:
John McCain and Lindsey Graham both commented that Robert S. Mueller III and Joe Lieberman are both well respected and will surely carry out their upcoming duties as Mueller-Special Counsel and Lieberman-FBI Director . It was considered as a counterintelligence investigation before, but it is now a criminal investigation. The biggest losers would be the public, according to Graham, for the opportunity for public hearing is no longer possible. Ability of Congress to call people who may be witnesses may also be restricted. It is now being treated with the consideration of being a criminal investigation. Graham also has various wise recommendations for President.
At this point, I believe our priority should be placed in investigating the relationship between President Trump-Russia and whether or not there had been interference of Russia with U.S. 2016 Election. Therefore, the focus should be on finding out what exactly was going on. In the process of setting this priority, the court should be generous with handing out immunity to witnesses who can come forward with critical evidences. In order to insure that American public are truly informed, it’d be a good idea to request the Congress to set up resolution specifying that the Special Counsel needs to make report of every stage of the investigation available to the public. Otherwise, the American public may still be kept in the dark.
