This is a very critical moment in U.S. history. It is time for Republicans and Democrats to come together to do the right thing, to regain trust from the Americans and to place country before party. As of yesterday, May 11, 2017, the White House is no longer even presenting a half-hearted attempt at pretense, but open admission of firing the FBI Director James Comey in order to terminate the investigation of Trump-Russian connection. This is definitely an act of obstruction of justice, as what’s been stated in the first article of impeachment against Richard Nixon and third article of impeachment against Bill Clinton. In the end, Republicans were the heroes of Watergate. They were able to wrap up this disappointing segment of our history with speed and grace, placing country above party.
