It is my first experience at a Die-In/Funeral Service Political Rally, in front of Senator Marco Rubio’s Orlando office building, at 201 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, during noon hour. This rally was organized by Melanie Gold of ChallengePolitics, in the form of a Die-In/Funeral Service, for all of those Americans who will be losing their health care if the bill that would repeal and replace ACA (Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare), the bill that had recently passed the House and on its way to the Senate, would eventually pass. This is a bill that had passed without the blessing of any of the Democrats nor 20 of the Republicans. In the short noon hour, at the busy intersection of Church and Orange of Downtown Orlando, one is exposed to all the elements that would appeal to one’s dramatic sensibilities: through music, poignant speeches, theatrical and artistic Grim Reaper and tombstones, occasional honking of the passing cars, but most importantly, via Floridians’ passions and fear of losing their health care.
If you have not yet heard about the passing of this particular bill through the House, please feel free to review some of its potential ramifications from our previous post at Windermere Sun,(click–>) Health Care Bill That Is Not For Helath Care….Time To Contact Your Senators.
Please allow me to share not just these Floridians’ passions and fear, but also their recommendations for other Americans in how to go about preventing the passing of this bill through the Senate, below:
For better understanding of the current state of the bill, please feel free to visit our previous post on (click –>) Rally at Rubio’s Office on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Noon, for Health Care.
