Rally at Rubio’s Office on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Noon, for Health Care

Dear Friends & Neighbors,

Just received a message from one of our readers/viewers, urging us all to attend a funeral tomorrow, the essence of his message is stated below:
Central Floridians, if you want to express your opinions toward the current state of ACA (Affordable Care Act), please feel free to show up tomorrow, wearing black, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at noon at Rubio’s Orlando office (201 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL). The goal is to gather as many letters as possible to be personally delivered to Rubio and to make a political statement. The reason behind wearing black is because you will be attending a funeral (if ACA is totally repealed, there will be many funerals for the American people). If you have strong sentiment regarding ACA, please feel free to bring your own sign. Otherwise, ask the organizer Melanie Gold for any sign she have massively produced.
If you can not make it to the rally, then send a letter outlining your concerns to challengepolitics@gmail.com and ChallengePolitics will personally deliver your letter. HAVE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
SOME TALKING POINTS (stated by Challenge Politics)
- Medicare for all
- ACA should not be repealed unless a there is a new bill increasing coverage and lowering premiums. Ideally, ACA would be repaired adding single payer option.
- Any bill should be 1. bipartisan 2. address costs by addressing cost drivers and talking to all the stakeholders, 3. increase coverage 4.lower premiums. 5 Be mindful of the deficit.
- The bill should not cut taxes to deny coverage, increase insurance company and insurance CEO compensation, or get rid of the mandate (as mandate effects coverage).
