This post is in response to Veronica of Orange County, who was concerned about where her child and her child’s friends will be attending high school in 2017-2018. Yes, some people’s decision in where to purchase or rent homes or where to sign up for their children’s sports teams will be very much dependent on where their children will be attending school. If you are a resident of Orange County of FL trying to determine where your child should be attending school, this is the site for you. If you are having difficulty in obtaining a result after entering your address, try widen the search by not entering your Street Number (leave this category blank).
If you want to look at a map of the boundary of each and every school zones (be it elementary, middle, or high school), check out this link at Orange County Public Schools web site.
For those of you who need to ascertain if your child will be attending the new West Orange Relief High School in 2017, the map at this URL (<–clcik) may be helpful. Keep in mind that the new West Orange Relief High School is not named yet and is currently represented by 27-H-W-4, and appears in the color of yellow in this map.
After all these efforts in searching for your school, if you still have more uncertainty, please feel free to:
- call 407-317-3233
- visit Student Enrollment Office at 445 West Amelia Street in downtown Orlando (office hours: 7:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M., M-F except holidays)
