Dear Friends & Neighbors,

(Please click on red links & note magenta)
As I was hitting the pavement on Main Street of Windermere, FL on a hot summer afternoon, passing out flyers for local businesses/organizations about our upcoming meetup on Sep. 29, 2016, I really regretted for having forgotten to bring my water bottle or coconut water. It did not take long for me to realize that I became both dehydrated and low on sugar. Luckily, at the center of downtown Windermere, Allen’s Creamery & Coffee House came to the rescue.

A scoop of fudge browny ice cream

quickly relieved my low sugar and dehydration symptoms. So I took the opportunity to visit this very beloved traditional establishment of any American town, the ice cream parlor. As many businesses that have evolved to meet the needs of local consumers, Allen’s Creamery & Coffee House is serving a great variety of items on its menu.

How many of you have actually visited this quaint relaxing place,

more than just an ice cream parlor, but also serves as a coffee house with variety of iced drinks, Allen’s doughnuts, breakfast and lunch food ? What’s more is one would even find a small section of business corner with stacks of business cards from local vendors/businesses.

I’ve heard of Chain of Lakes Challenge at Allen’s Creamery (eating 11 scoops of ice cream in 15 minutes) from one of the neighborhood kids before and found a video about this, shared below:
I also came across an interesting fundraising event posted at Allen’s Creamery & Coffee House: Ice Cream & Miracle Fundraising Event, on Aug. 27, 2016, 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, at Allen’s Creamery & Coffee House at 523 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786, with Raffle Prizes, Discount Coupons, and Ice Cream for a great cause, and meet the Winnie Palmer Staff and Tour the Mobile NICU Transport. Allen’s Creamery & CoffeeHouse and The Allen Real Estate Team & Realty International are proud to be participating sponsors in the 2016 Walk For Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
